A Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum — Természettudományi Múzeum újabb kiállításai írta: Boros István, Budapest Szerző az 1953-ban megnyitott kiállítások közül ez alkalommal a botanikai kiállítást és a múzeum három vándorkiállítását ismerteti. Főleg az előbbivel foglalkozik részletesen, abból kiindulva, hogy botanikai kiállítások rendezése jelenleg még a nagy múzeumok részére is rendszerint nehezen megoldható feladat. Mindenekelőtt megállapítja, hogy a kiállítás célja a Természettudományi Múzeum jellegének és hivatásának megfelelően nem lehet más, mint az elmélet és gyakorlat szempontjához igazodva, hazai növények bemutatása alapján a látogatók elméleti-botanikai ismereteinek tudományos megalapozása és bővítése. Ezek után közli a kiállítás tematikáját, mely szerint az anyag öt főtéma körül csoportosul. I. Magyarország növényvilága: A) Magyarország növényvilágának kialakulása. B) Magyarország növényföldrajzi helyzete Euráziában. C) Magyarország fekete-, barnakőszén telepeinek s tőzegeinek kialakulása és hasznosítása. II.
