The britomartis inhabiting the eastern side of Mt. Nagykevély, north of Budapest, is exceedingly pale, the basally proximal part of the third row on the upperside of the hindwing dark brown. Kovács. Forma verőcensis f. п. The britomartis flying around Nógrádverőce, in the southern slopes of Mts. F a b r i с i u s, in the collection of L. Kovács. Forma naszálensis f. п. The britomartis occurring on Mt. Naszál, near Vác, have a more strongly rounded forewing. They are colored relatively more
