XI. ANNALES MU SEI NATION ALIS HUNGARICI. 1913. A NEW SPECIES OF CEKIOIDES FROM UGANDA. By Dr. K. KERTÉSZ. (With 1 figure.) Cerioides ugandana n. sp. 5 . Head yellow wax-shining, but a transverse band between the two eyes on the vertex, a very fine stripe on both sides of the petiole, the tubercle above the mouth to the lower part of the eyes, brown. Petiole longer than the first joint of the antennae, both reddish-yellow (second and third joint wanting). Dorsum of the thorax black; humeral ealli as well as a square spot at the sides extending from the humeral callus to the suture and extending into the front part of the thorax yellow ; the sides behind the suture brownish ; pleurae black, the greatest part of the meso-, sterno­and pteropleura yellow and merging into one another forming a large yellow spot. Scutellum quite yellow. First abdominal segment in its greatest extent yellow, only a band in the middle and the hind-margin brown ; second segment contracted reddish­brown, two and a half times as long as the first, with a yellow hind-margin ; third and fourth segment black, the yellow hind-margins dilated at the sides, 011 the third more than 011 the fourth ; fifth segment quite black. Belly : the first two segments reddish-brown, the others black, the hind-margin of the second and third yellow. Wings hyalin, broad brown along the anterior margin growing darker towards the tip. the fifth longitudinal vein as well as the lower­and the anal cross-veins (YERRALL) bordered with brown. Cubital vein but little curved and the loop very undistinct, veinlet wanting. Legs brownish-yellow ; tibiae yellow at the base, the hind one curved. Squamae and halteres yellow. Length (exclusive of petiole and antennae): 19 mm.; wings: 13 mm. Annales Musei Sationalis Hunfinrici. XI. Fig. 1.
