Black; head and thorax opake and thinly clothed with cinereous pubescence, that on the disk of the thorax and margin of the scutellum slighthlv ochraceous. Flagellum fulvous beneath, mandibles ferrugineous at their apex ; tarsi ferruginous, wings hyaline, nervures fuscous, stigma testaceous. Abdomen shining, delica­tely punctured, basal margins of the 2.— 4. segments with a hand of cinereous pubescence, attenuated in the middle. Celebes. » 36. The collar, scutellum and postscutellum bordered with short downy pale pubescence ; the wings subhyaline and iridescent, the apical margins of the superior pair fuscous ; the legs obscurely rufo-piceous, tarsi pale rufo-testaceous, legs with a glittering pale pubescence.
