4-5 ETRUSCO-CORINTHIAN OLPE. BUDAPEST. MUSEUM OF EINE ARTS 4. OLPE. Budapest Museum of Fine Arts, inv. no. 51.341. Wheel-made. Light greenish-brown clay (10YR 7/3), reddish dark brown glaze (2.5YR 4/2-4/3), yellow-white and purple-red added colour. Height: 25,6 cm (with rotellae); diameter of mouth: 12,4 cm; diameter of foot: 7,7 cm; largest diameter of body: 15,2 cm. Restored from several pieces; edge of mouth, part of neck, and two larger pieces from the lower body missing and replaced. The painted decoration has worn off almost completely over almost the whole surface (pi. 4-5) Elongated ovoid body, separated with relief ring from the flared mouth. Low torus foot with small round depression in the middle. Rounded strap handle from lip to shoulder, two vertical grooves on outside, and rotellae, one on each side, at the top where it meets the lip. Dark brown glaze covering outside and inside of neck, only inside of handle and bottom of foot unpainted. Traces of decoration: white dot rosettes on neck; on shoulder incised tongue-
