DÁGI, MARIANNA - SIPOS, ENIKŐ: Report on the Conservation of Coptic Textiles in the Department of Greek and Roman Antiquities (1999-2000)
The documentation of the conservation process includes in every case a description of the condition of the object before conservation, a description of the process used in every case, and colour photographs of the object before and after conservation. The storage of the textile fragments together with their boxes will be best carried out in an area where a temperature of 18 °C (+/-2°C) and 50-55 % relative humidity can be continually maintained. An identical climate must be provided for pieces displayed. The textile fragments can be examined only under light free of UV radiation, and in the exhibit area the lighting should not be more than 50 lux. ENIKŐ SIPOS Translated by Péter Agócs
