22. Textile fragment with animal ornament. Budapest, Museum of Applied Arts, inv. no. 84.122.1 The fact that the technique of weaving, the animal-figures, and the colours of the five pieces are identical raises the question of whether the fragments in the Collection of Greek and Roman Antiquities are in fact from the same cloth as the one in the possession of the Museum of Applied Arts. The dimensions of the medallions and the weft and warp thread count 10 do not exclude the possibility that all five are from the same cloth.
