Winter scription «Anibale Carazzi 1595 », a date which there is no reason to mistrust. 8 The same type of hatching, the same treatment of the tree trunks and foliage, the same sense of construction is found in the Budapest « Landscape with a reclining woman » 9 which fits therefore into the same period of Annibalc's activity in Rome during the latter part of the nineties (Fig. 61).
