VIII House from Szentgál The outbuildings, imposing pigsties next to the fence, the grand plastered stone fence of this house from Szentgál built on the hill all set this house apart from its neighbours. The farm must have been in the possession of a well-to-do family owning significant land and livestock. In fact they were the descenthe u dants of medieval royal hunters from Szentgál who protected their traditions and maintained the noble appearances of their houses and interior furnishings even after they were reduced from the ranks of the gentry to the middle-class. The house belonging to the Rák and Móri families was built of stone with lime-mortar in the mid-19th century. Almost all rooms are vaulted.
