UTÓSZÓ Az Orvostörténeti Közlemények (Communicationes de História Artis Medicinae) szerkesztősége, a folyóiratkiadó Semmelweis Orvostörténeti Múzeum, Könyvtár és Levéltár, valamint a Magyar Orvostörténelmi Társaság azoknak a nagy orvosoknak az emléke előtt tiszteleg —- amikor elvállalta az Orvostovábbképző Intézet felkérésére a ,,100 éves a magyar orvostovábbképzés" c. jubileumi kötet kiadását —, akik 1883-ban lerakták az orvostovábbképzés alapjait; elsősorban Markusovszky Lajos, a magyar orvosi múlt legnagyobb szervező egyénisége, a modern magyar orvosképzés és továbbképzés megteremtője előtt hajtjuk meg fejünket. Az útjára bocsátott mű a magyar orvostovábbképzés, az Orvostovábbképző Intézet vezető személyiségeinek alkotása, szemléletük, tudásuk, emlékezésük hordozója. A sorozaton kívül megjelenő munka kiadásában szerkesztőségünkre elsősorban a technikai jellegű teendők hárultak, legföljebb ennek érdeme illet bennünket. A szerkesztőség POSTSCRIPT The editors of Orvostörténeti Közlemények (Communicationes de História Artis Medicinae), its publishing institute the Semmelweis Museum, Library and Archives for the History of Medicine as well as the Hungárián Society for the History of Medicine, undertaking the publication of the jubilee volume'TOO Years Old Postgraduate Medical Education in Hungary" upon the request of the Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education, wished to honour the memory of the great doctors who in 1883 lay the foundations of postgraduate education, and the first bow we owe to Lajos Markusovszky, the greatest Organizer in the Hungárián medical past, the establisher of modern medical education and postgraduate training. The publication we issued is the work of the leading personalities of presentday postgraduate medical training, of the Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education, carrying their views, knowledge and memories, whereas in the course of publishing this off series volume mainly the technical tasks were left to our editorial staff, only there lies our slight merit. The Editors
