2 Medical History in Hungary 1972 (Comm. Hist. Artis Med. Suppl. 6.) that is barely available today, in its series of "Books of Medical History". The four volumes were published in a bilingual translation between 1900 and 1971. It is a mark of the success of the publication that the first volumes have already sold out. The aim of the present paper is to invite interest and attention for Weszprémi's life and work beyond the borders of his homeland, and, by spotlighting his connections with Britain, to stimulate local research on his life and work in England.
