1085 Budapest, Üllői út 26. Hungary ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS Genersich Antal 28 éves korától 70 éves koráig volt patológus professzor és intézetvezető, 1895-ig Kolozsvárott, utána Budapesten. Mindkét egyetemen új intézeti épületet rendezett be, szerelt fel korszerűen és látott el könyvtárral. Patológiai és oktató munkáját Virchow szellemében látta el, megteremtve a ma is ható patológiai iskola alapját Magyarországon. Életének egy szakaszában részt vett a tényleges betegellátó munkában is, mely körülmény elősegítette abban, hogy oktató és gyakorló patológiai munkájában a klinikopatológiai szemlélet érvényesüljön.
