Ezeken kívül számos tárgyi hibát találtam, de ezek taglalása meghaladná e könyvismertetés kereteit. Viszont alapelvszerűen kívánom megállapítani, hogy a latin „aquae" szó, így többes számban nem „vizek" (=„vody"), hanem forrás, s ennek megfelelően a „thermae" sem egyszerűen fürdő (=,,kúpele"), hanem hévíz, melegforrás, amelyre mind a szlovák, mind a cseh nyelvnek nagyon találó, ugyancsak többes számú kifejezése a „teplice". Egyidejűleg jelent meg a munka latin—német kiadása „Über die piesfaner [sic!] Heilbäder" címmel Juraj Igumnov fordításában. Úgy tűnik, a szlovák fordítást vehette alapul, mert néhány kivételtől eltekintve ugyanazokba a hibákba esett. Milyen jó lett volna közös vállalkozásban a latin—magyar változatot is elkészíteni. Ez esetben a fordítók konzultációja — több szem többet lát alapon — bizonyára elébe vágott volna nem egy tárgyi tévedésnek. [50 years of the activities of the Hungarian Pharmaceutical Society] It was more than fifty years ago on September 20 of 1924 when the statute of the "Hungarian Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences" was approved by the Minister of the Interior. This had been the starting point of the activities of the present "Hungarian Pharmaceutical Society", in the course of which substantial organisatory changes were carried out by two occasions. The founders outlined the programme of activities of the Society as follows: "7b promote interest in natural sciences, the study of pharmaceutical sciences, investigations into the history of Hungarian pharmacy practice in order to raise the moral status of Hungarian pharmacy as well as to support young pharmacists in their ambitions aiming at the advance of patriotism and of professional devotion." The foundation of the Society and the establishing of the above programme had been largely promoted by the activities of Dr. Endre Deér who was the first to suggest the idea of setting up a scientific society of pharmacy and who established the "Circle of Lecturers in Pharmacy". Looking back upon that fifty years it is without overstatement to say that the foundation of the Society was a milestone in the progress in pharmaceutical sciences in Hungary. This was the first association which set as an object to promote scientific work. The main organ to decide upon its policy has been the general assembly of the Society. The body responsible for the management between the general assemblies is the National Board and its presidency. According to data emerging from the history of the Society, 34 general assemblies were held and the National Boards elected by the general assemblies appointed the 9 presidents as follows : Dr. Sándor Mágócsy-Dietz (1924), Dr. Zsigmond Jakabházy (1935), Dr. Tibor Széki (1943), Dr. Pál Lipták (1947), Dr. Elemér Schulek (1949), Mg. ph. Viktor Ligeti (1951), Dr. Antal Végh (1954), Dr. György Kedvessy (1968), Dr. Ottó Clauder (1972).
