III. DENARIUS AND ANTONINIANUS FIND OF THE THIRD CENTURY A.D. A coin hoard was found around l93o within the town of Szőny which included nineteen denarii and 489 antoniniani. The find closes at the beginning of the year 252 A.D. The find was bought by Ödön Kállay, whose collection went into the possession of György Lenhardt during the early X95os. Unfortunately the find was not identifiable from the Kállay-Lenhardt collection. The only sure description is availabe from the article of Aladár Radnóti /Radnóti, A. : A few data to the consecration type coins. NK 44-45 (1945-46), 6-12/. Since the article deals mainly with the consecration type coins in general, it only mentions the find emphasizing the consecration types only. The summation of the hoard, or rather the data of the reverses are the following according to Radnóti: Only nine reverse types occur in the find of Trebonianus Gallus and Volusian.
