(U C) It contained a collapsed urn, with burnt bones in it; this was covered with the bide piece of another urn (? ), next to them was a two-handled mug, and other sherds. Gd: 45 cm. — 1. Urn, brown, with knots on its rim and shoulder (Reconst.) H: ca. 23 cm (PI. 3-30/1). 2. Urn sherd, side of an urn with vertically bored handle, brown. (PI. 3—30/2). 3. Two-handled mug, yellow, with two knots on its rim and six on its shoulder, rough workmanship (Rest.) H: 14, R6:13, B/> : 7,6 cm (PI. 3-30/3). 4. Sherd, grey, with the remnants of a handle on the shoulder (PI. 3-30/4). Grave 31. (? C) A mug and a cup on their sides indicate the grave. Gd: 50 cm. — 1. Mug, brown, with proportioned rib on its shoulder (Rest.) H: 11,5, R</>:1 1,4, B</> : 7,7 cm (PI. 3-31/1). 2. Cup, grey, with dotted pattern on its shoulder (Complete) H: 7,2, R</>:7,5 cm (PI. 3-31/2). Grave 32. (? D) Only a cup, turned sideways indicates the grave. Gd: 55 cm. - 1. Cup, brown, (Rest.) H: 6, R</>:6,8 cm (PI. 3—32/1). Grave 33. (U D1 The two vessels of this urn grave were unearthed from the disturbed soil of the Á26 Avar grave. Gd: 80—110 cm. — 1. Urn, yellow, with two proportioned circular ribs on its shoulder (Reconstr.) H: 55 cm (pi. 3— 33/1). 2. Dish, brown, with four flat knots on its rim (Reconstr.) H: ca. 9, R(J:34 cm (PI. 3-33/2). Grave 34. (U D) The fragmentary urn and dish were in one pile, most likely in a secondary positon. Gd: 102 cm. - 1. Urn, brown, with small knots on its shoulder, and bigger ones on its bulge (Reconstr.) H: ca. 34 cm (PI. 4-34/1). 2. Dish, brown, with flat knots on its rim (Fr.) (PI. 4-34/2). Grave 35. (P Ud) there were the fragments of a skull, pieces of a bronze ring and bracelet, and a handled cup. Gd: 34 cm. - 1. Urn, brown, with bowed knots on its shoulder (Rest.) H: 70, R(J:26, B</>:12 cm (PI. 4-35/1). 2. Cup, brown (Rest.) H: 7,2, Rtf>:6,5 cm (PI. 4-35/2). 3-4. Bronze ring of circular wire (Incompl.) </) : 1,1 cm (PI. 4-35/3). 5. Bronze bracelet of circular wire with pointed tips disintegrated during the excavation. Grave 36. (U D) Only the sherds of the urn, and among these sherds the pieces of a plated bronze ring remained. Gd: 45 cm. - 1. Urn, brown, with scored knots on its bulge (Reconstr.) (PI. 4-36/1). 2-3. Bronze ring of ribbed pla­te, one has scored decoration on its edge. <t>: 1,4 cm (PI. 4—36/2—3). Grave 37. (? D) Gd: 70 cm. - 1. Urn sherd, grey, B0:13,5 cm (PI. 4-37/1). Grave 38. (? D) A cup marked the grave, most likely in a secondary position. Gd: 60 cm. - 1. Cup, brown (Complete) H: 3,6, R0:4,5 cm (PI. 4-38/1). Grave 39. (? D) Seven or eight bronze plates with bent edges were unearthed from the bottom layer of the topsoil in a rather fragmentary condition. No other pieces or bones were found. Gd: 105 cm (See PI. 24-258/18-19). Grave 40. (? C) The three vessels of the grave were lying upside down next to each other. No bones were found close by. Gd: 95 cm. - 1. Four-handled jar, brown undecorated (Reconstr.) H: 24,3, R</>:14,5, B</>: 10,1 cm (PI. 4-40/1). 2. Two-handled mug, brown, with scored knots on its shoulder, rough workmanship (Reconstr.) H: 18 cm (PI. 4-40/2). 3. Dish, grey, four flat piked parts divide its rim (Rest.) H: 11,5, Rtf>:26,4, B</>:9 cm (PI. 4^40/3). Grave 41. (? D) A jar turned sideways indicates the grave. Gd: 30 cm. — 1. Jar, brown, with small knots on its rims (Reconstr.) H: 36 cm (PI. 4-40/1). Grave 42. An unreconstructable vessel's sherds marked the disturbed grave 30 cm deep in the topsoil. For the type see (PI. 4-35/1). Grave 43. (? D) Gd: 30 cm. — 1. Cup, brown, zig-zag and vertical line groups decorate its shoulder (Complete) H: 6, R</>:5,2, B0:2,8 cm (PI. 4-43/1). Grave 44. (? C) A small cup and a bored wild boar tusk were under the one-handled mug. Gd: 25 cm. — 1. Mug, yellow, with proportioned grouped ribs on its shoulder (Complete) H: 12,4, R</>:9,7, B6:6,7 cm (PL 4-44/1). 2. Cup, grey, with three knots on its bulge (Complete) H: 4,2, R</>:5,4 cm (PI. 4—44/2). 3. Pendent of animal tooth L: 3 cm (PI. 4-44/3). Grave 45. (Sag C) Two cups were lying among the oval shaped area of scattered ashes. Gd: 28 cm. — 1. Cup, grey, (Complete) H: 5,5, R0:6,3 cm (PI. 4-45/1). 2. Cup, grey, (Fr.) H: ca. 7,4 (PI. 4-45/2). Grave 46. (? D) Gd: 35 cm. - 1. Cup, grey, with three knots on its bulge (Complete) H: 7, R</>:7, B^:2 cm (PL 4-46/1). Grave 47. (? C) An upside down cup was among the burnt bones. Gd: 35 cm. - 1. Cup, brown, with slightly scored vertical lines on its shoulder (Rest.) H: 8, R</>:6,3 x 5,5, B/>:2 cm (PL 4 —47/1). Grave 48. (Sag C) A bronze wire ring and an upside down mug were among the ashes, 15 cm above these a handled cup. — 1. Mug, yellow, with circular scores on its shoulder (Rest.) H: 17,5, R</>:12, B</>:7 cm (PL 4-48/1). 2. Cup, grey, (Incompl.) H: 4,5, R<f>:5,2, B</>:3 cm (PL 4-48/2). 3. Bronze wire ring, with semicircular cross section (Fr.) <M cm (PL 4-48/3). Grave 49. (Sag C) The pieces of an upside down unreconstructable dish was found among some burnt bones in the amorphous grave ditch (? ). Gd: 110 cm. Grave 50. (Sag C) A highly contracted skeleton on its left side marked the grave. It is in bad condition, and is incomplete. Orientation: W-E, 249°. Gd: 115 cm. ­1. Bronze pin on the right shoulder with scored lines (Incompl.) L: 18 cm (PL 4-50/1). 2. Cup, in a secondary position 30 cm away from the feet. Grey, with three knots on its bulge (Rest.)
