Chape-bridge. Straight, 1.3 cm. Chagrinage. Vertical rows of three squarish marks made with a compound punch. Sword Total length. 88.5 cm. Total length of hilt. 15 cm. Breadth of blade. 4 cm. The squarish tang is surmounted by a disc button. Three squarish stamp marks arranged horizontally to the right from the mid of the blade; the same stamps in a vertical row in the centre of the blade. Midrib. Less prominent. Overlaps. Back over front. Reinforce. Bilateral. The front side has two domed rosettes, each adorned with an engraved triskel in the "champ-levé" technique, connected with a bar having a knob in its middle. The reverse can be assigned to the T-type with curved arms, each terminating in a human face resembling a mask in profile. Loop. Ic, arched, 2.1 cm long by 1.3 cm broad. Loop-plates. The upper one is T-shaped with masks, the lower one is round with a rivet, with the depiction of a human leg wearing an anklet underneath. Chape-clamps. Round. Chape-bridge. Breadth. 4.9 cm. Mouth. Type A 2 , normal campanulate variety, 1.3 cm. Midrib. None. Overlaps. Back over front. Reinforce. Bilateral. The front plate consists of four bars with three knobs inbetween, the reverse is of the T-type, ornamented with hourglass-shaped and vertical lines. Loop. Ic, arched, 2 cm long by 1.5 cm broad. Loop­plates. Rounded; the lower one is somewhat elongated, both have protruding rivets. Chape­clamp, chape-bridge and chape-end. Missing. Design. lbi+2b; HSS, phase 2. Sword Total length. 86.5 cm. The tang is surmounted by a disc button. Grave goods Spear head; sword chain of the punched type; shield-boss with openwork edges; bronze bracelet adorned with lyre-shaped plastic mo­tifs.
