Munkácsy párizsi kiállításai 1870 és 1900 között ÖSSZEÁLLÍTOTTA KOVÁCS Munkácsy Exhibitions in Paris between 1870 and 1900 COMPILED BY nna Zsófia M,„ kácsy párizsi tartózkodásának huszonöt évében rendszeresen részt vett kiállításokon, eleinte kizárólag a Salonban, később más kisebb, csoportos rendezvényeken is, mint például a Cercle des Mirlitons-ban. A 80-as években otthagyta a Salon kiállításait, és elsősorban Sedelmeyer Galériájában mutatta be műveit, de előfordult, hogy egyéb csoportkiállításokon is szerepelt. Az utolsó években visszatért a Salonba (hű marad a régi Salon des artistes français-hez), de néhány külön kiállítást is szervezett. A felsorolás a különböző jegyzékekben vagy a sajtóban megjelent címeket közli. Amikor volt rá lehetőség, igyekeztük jelezni a legvalószínűbb feloldást, megadva annak a cikknek az adatait, mely a feltételezést alátámasztja. D ring bis twenty-five years in Paris, Munkácsy regularly took part in exhibitions; initially he exhibited his works exclusively in the Salon, but later on he also participated in smaller group exhibitions, such as the Cercles des Mirlitons, for example. In the 1880s he withdrew from the Salon, showing his compositions mostly in Sedelmeyer's gallery, alrhough occasionally he also took part in smaller group exhibitions. In the final years he went back to the Salon (he remained loyal to the old Salon des artistes français), but also organized a number of separate exhibitions. In compiling the following list, we have relied on catalogues as well as on articles and adverts placed m the papers. (In the case of the large exhibitions, we have also provided the serial number of the works.) The list gives the titles as they appeared in the various inventories or articles published in the papers. Due to inaccuracies and the subsrantial variations from the currently established titles, we have been able to identify a number of compositions only on the basis of contemporary descriptions. Whenever it was possible, we indicated the most probable solution, enclosing the parameters of the article, which supported that particular assumption. 1870 Salon 2063.
