and exhibitions. Tours to particular regions of the country and to foreign countries (Austria, Czechoslovakia, Rumania, Leningrad, Greece) are also organized. 8. Community life. In addition to the annual general assembly, the Circle has two exclusive club afternoons which are excellent occasions for meeting and for an informal exchange of ideas. The Circle has become a close-knit community with many groups of friends. Members attend to meet each other, too. indeed, this is a Circle of Friends: friends of the Gallery and of each other. Although not an association of patrons and not an association rich in means, members have already bought several smaller objects of art (drawings) for the Gallery. The Circle also contributes to the collecting and the research of the museum with photographic and sound documents, personal donations and collections. Márta Vajna
