Tanulmányok - Vörös Éva: Egy gyűjtemény - két fotográfus - négy helyszín. Állami ménesbirtokokról készült fotográfiák a 19. század utolsó évtizedéből

One collection - two photographers - four locations Photographs of state stud farms from the final decade of the 19th century ÉVA VÖRÖS The Original Photograph Collection of the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture keeps a significant amount of photographs from last decade of the 19th century. The study examines the material of two photographers active in this period, comparing the oeuvre of the master, Ede Ellinger, and his disciple, Mór Erdélyi. Research proves that among the locations both photographers covered the greatest number involve photographs taken at state stud farms. These images include both the stock and the infrastructure of these farms at Mezőhegyes, Bábolna, Kisbér and Fogaras. The study classifies and summarises a part of the photographic sources of agriculture in the 1890s, and compares it to the photographic reports in contemporary Hungarian periodicals, especially the Vasárnapi Újság. The study also contributes to and reflects the latest research results of archival and bibliographical sources concerning the four state stud farms. 182
