sok önként tenni akaró, jobbat kívánó ember él a földön, és olyan sok támogatásra szoruló személy, intézmény, elv létezik, hogy a fentebb már definiált fogalomnak mindig helye lesz a világban, azaz: az önkéntesség nem anyagi ellenszolgáltatásért végzett önkéntes tevékenység, amely más személyek, csoportok, rétegek vagy a társadalom egészének hasznára irányul. Growing pains of the volunteering programme in the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture BOGLÁRKA RADICS Volunteers... There are some who misinterpret this term, others are aware what it means but only from hearsay while others know it from practice. The aim of this paper is to dispel the misunderstandings that surround this notion and to present the former and current volunteering programmes of the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture as well as the possibilities of museum volunteering. It is hoped that the study will be able to refute the pejorative associations of the term ‘volunteering’, and its characterisation simply as unpaid work. The reason of volunteering is not just to execute some definite task, but, as a resulting ‘byproduct’ of the cooperation between those who volunteer their help and those who accept it, the valuable character development of the two cooperating parties.
