The most important statistical sources of the history of the processus in the modern period are the Lexicon Locorum from 1773, the Tabella Locorum from 1781, the gazetteers that were regularly published from the mid-19th century, and maps. The Map Collection of the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture keeps several valuable county maps or series, including the Magyar Atlasz published by Görög and Kerekes (1802/11), as well as Hatsek’s county series from 1880.
