The National Educational Program and the Exhibitions of Museum of Hungarian Agriculture A. DARVASNÉ MOLNÁR The National Educational Program - operating from the 98/99 school year - is answer to the questions of economic and social changes and is an answer to the challenges of our age: „...it is meant to include an expandable basis of general knowledge that is dispensable for everyone" One of the possible factors of increasing the efficiency of education is the (re) discov­ery of museums. The study is concerned with three main themes: The planning of modern museum-peda­gogy, roaming about exhibitions, fields of National Educational Program. Exhibitions n the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture and the National Educational Program meet in several areas, so we can find a detailed museum-orientated exploration in the study as well. Fields of National Educational Program 1. native language and literature 2. foreign language 3. mathematics 4. human and society 5. human and nature 6. ours Earth and our environment 7. arts 8. informatics 9. life style and practical knowledge 10. sports. The writer-analyses the links between the exhibitions and the fields of National Educa­tional Program as well as using museum-pedagogical studies and the plans of this studies. Permanent exhibitions of museum; Domestication; Domestic animals in the 9-l4th century; Pig breeding; Horse keeping; Sheep breeding; Cattle breeding; Raising of small animals; Plough and ploughing; History of grain growing; Horticulture; Hunting; Fishing; Forestry; Environmental protection; Grape-growing and viniculture. One of the strategic points in the area of the museums' social assistance is the develop­ment of museum-pedagogy. We need to find those points that are typical of all of the European museums, and which could integrate, them into a contemporary system of museum-pedagogy.
