The paper gives full details about the difficulties after the Second World War from 1952 on, when this bibliographical undertaking was started again, all the problems of collecting material and those of redaction. According to the content, the essay is treating in two parts the history of publicaton of vol. III-VIII, because vol. III-V are still the products of a period in transition. The continuity is unbrocken only since vol. V. The study appreciates highly the work of the two editors Károly IHRIG and Imre TAKÁCS and also the background role of Ferenc S. SZABÓ and János MATOLCSI being the two directors of the museum of those times. The paper is dealing with the classification of the 40.000 entries according to the decimal system and the pecularities of the exterior appearance of the volumes. At last the study wants to emphasize the agro-historical importance of each period represented in the different volumes according to the editorial prefaces of the different volumes.
