a worthy object in a world confronted with hunger for a rising number of human beings. The process is, of course, known by ithe title of our section of the Congress: transforming traditional agriculture. It is nevertheless a proceeding that must be undertaken skilfully, and the problems involved will not be solved either by the use of a specially invented terminology, concealing ignorance, nor by precipitate and ill-considered action.
