Múzeumi épületek - Holló Csaba: Egy haldokló iparterület tervezett rehabilitációjának várható hatása – Ipari zárvány egy város testében

helyszínei (interaktív technikatörténeti múzeum) telepítendők a területre, erre lehetőség van. Szakmai partnerség elismertetésével el kell érnünk, hogy ne konkurenciaként, hanem egymás ismertségét kölcsönösen elősegítő módon működhessünk együtt olyan intézményekkel, melyek hasonló profilúak esetleg, vagy pl. nincs megfelelő területük a raktáraikban lévő anyagaik bemutatására. Itt lenne a lehetőség az Országos Műszaki Múzeum bemutatóhelyeinek kiépítésére, mérnöki hagyatékok, irat- és tervtárak, levéltárak elhelyezésére, bemutatására. CSABA HOLLÓ: EFFECTS TO BE EXPECTED FROM THE REHABILITATION OF A DYING INDUSTRIAL AREA In 1868 the transfer of the metallurgical plant and iron factory from Hámor to the open space between Miskolc and Diósgyőr was started, together with the construction of the then most up-to-date settlement of workers. On the 170-ha-territory of the one-time Lenin Metallurgical Works (LKM) and the 44-ha-territory of former DIGÉP (at a time under the name MÁVAG) today you can find real industrial activity but in traces, all of it can be characterized by neglect and decay. All this can be found in the geographical centre of the town Miskolc as a so-to-say "industrial inclusion". In 2005 a team recruited from all over the country prepared - under the management of the Zoltán Bay Research Institute of Logistics and Manufacturing Technology - a feasibility study of a National Park of Industrial History that could be established with the former Diósgyőr industrial areas as centre. In the following I will try to publish my generalizable ideas and experience on how it would be possible to lead back the dying "rust zone" into the living town. The benefit of the ideas, which mean a gain in self-conscience related to the preservation of the values of our past, can be shown to be indirectly an economic benefit, too. The implementation of the project will bring about considerable job creation. The project planned does not want to discontinue a single job in the working industrial plants. On the contrary, it promotes renovation and presentability of the rest of the plants. The "industrial safaris" induce economic activities that require new manpower. The greatest benefit for the town would be the bringing into being of a new district on the now chaotic and neglected area in the town centre. The basis of development - from the aspects of territory and cultural history - will be the exemplary industrial site from the second half of the 19th century, together with the pertinent workers' settlement. It is here that a modern and living district of the 21st century has to be shaped that would organically incorporate the Park of Relics as well. In the area a road-network has to be established. At the same time there should remain green surfaces as well. The area should be opened in every direction. An important aspect is maintaining the industry that operates. Besides the living industrial function the possibility of studying the history of industry must be present in the area as well. These might be linked to research and educational functions or institutions. Besides the cultural functions commercial, catering and leisure functions have to be present, too. A possibility would be given here to build the showrooms of the Hungarian Museum for Science and Technology, to place and present the relics of engineers, the stores of documents, designs, and archives.
