CSABA ALVÁRI: DOCUMENTS OF GEODESY IN THE ARCHIVES OF THE HUNGARIAN MUSEUM FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY The study describes a group in the archives of the Hungarian Museum for Science and Technology. István Kruspér (1818-1905), Lajos Bodola (1859-1936) and Károly Oltay (1881-1955), three outstanding personages of Hungarian surveying were members of a number of domestic and international scientific-professional organizations. Besides their scientific activities they were also teaching at Budapest Technical University. The documents arisen from their activities got, sooner or later, to the archives of the Hungarian Museum for Science and Technology. The study deals in brief with the types, themes and sizes of the documents.
