The specific problem of fire control for the earth-bound anti-aircraft artillery kept many military development engineers busy in a number of states. The research work started about the end of the 1920s under guidance of István Juhász and his brother Zoltán resulted finally in one of GAMMA Work's most successful product, the GAMMA-Juhász Predictor — or in other words — the GAMMA-Juhász anti-aircraft fire control computer. The device being well-know and wanted in its own age has been purchase by the army of numerous countries. This compilation presents the main technical peculiarities and specification of the Gamma-Juhász predictor. By describing a few moments of production and application of this apparatus having great importance In history of Hungarian industry, we intend to draw a picture of the technical and social relations of an Interesting era, which can teach us lessons that hold true up till now.
