dinamikus technika által előirt életritmus, a gépek és közlekedési eszközök által előidézett zaj, a vizeknek az ipari üzemek általi szennyezése, a levegőnek az égéstermékek általi megrontása káros hatással van az emberek és utódaik szervezetére. Szükséges, hogy a technikus, az eddigieknél nagyobb mértékben, megfelelő biológiai,pszichológiai és gazdasági ismeretekkel birjon ahhoz, hogy a technikai berendezések létesítésénél az emberi szervezetre káros hatások elkerülhetők legyenek és a technika az általános jólét emelése mellett az eljövendő nemzedékek egészségének megóvását és életerejének fokozását szolgálja. A technika történetének tanulmányozása és az abból leszűrhető tapasztalatok értékesitése korunkban fokozott jelentőséggel bir, hiszen a technika döntő hatású jelentőségre tesz szert az emberi tevékenység minden területén. A technika történetének ismerete nagymértékben elősegiti mai feladataink helyes megoldását. Pal ANDAI: History of technics and technical progress In this study the author draws attention to the valuable conclusions one may draw from the history of technics. As engineering has assumed a decisive role in every field of human activity in our age, it appears particularly important to make use of the technical experience we may gain from history. The author also sums up the results of his investigations regarding the rhythm of technical evolution. He states that in the history of mankind the dynamic and static technics have developed in an alternating rhythm. A sweep in dynamic technics is always followed by a period of development is static technics. In eras of flourishing human culture the dynamic and static technics were always balanced in proportion. Techno-historic studies may give valuable guidance also regarding the trend to be followed in our further technical progress.
