"valley-ship" (store-ship), and the paddle-wheel. The frame of the house-ship and the valley-ship is a ribbed construction covered by thick oak boards on the sides and at the bottom.

The shaft of the paddle wheel juts in the house-ship and, rotating together with the wooden cog-wheels fastened to it transmits the power to the driving gear housed in the ship-mill.

Based on the research work of Ferenc Kende, the article gives a detailed description of the ship-mill, of its layout and equipment.
