The F-13 aeroplanes were used not only for passanger and post transportion but in Germany for cartography, in America for the commercial exploration of certain parts of the continent, in Persia for air-photoing for the construction of the railway in Asia Minor. The modified F-13s operated as homing pigeon transporters, as flying post offices, as ambulancy aeroplanes and succesfully used for chemical insect-killer flights over forests, plantations as well. The Junkers F-13 which was the first passanger aeroplane on the world with pure metal construction, self-supporting wings and covered passangers cabin by which far ahead her age became the basic sample of the todays operating transport aircraft.
