She is technically known as Vasakasajjika. The deep rooted affection of the lovers is indicated in a sculpture from Barabudur in consonance with a literary description of the Chakravaka birds, proverbially attached to each other, unable ever to bear separation. Yet another sculpture from Barabudur represents a heart-felt welcome to the Buddha indicated by the Purnakumbha or the brimming water vessel, which idea conveys the attitude of the mind as well, the fullness of heart of the devotees, (jig. 6).
