At the end of the Final Session. Antal Gonyei, Head of the Department of Museums in the Ministry of Culture made a valedictory address expressing his hope that the cooperation of the museums represented by the participants will be extended in accordance to the resolutions of the UNESCO and ICOM. In the afternoons the guests visited, in addition to the Jubilee Exhibition of the Hopp Museum, the Castle Museum and the Museum of Applied Art. On the fourth day they were taken on a tour to Székesfehérvár, Veszprém and Tihany. In the following —• with the gracious permission of the authors — we are able to print the manuscripts of the lectures given at the Conference. Some of them are shortened to some extent, like that of Prof. Dr. G. R. Meyer, László Ferenczy, Dr. Zofia Alber and I. Dorofeiev.
