Exhibitions : a) China Museum. In the exhibition of The Art of Old and New China we withdrew some material to make place for some new acquisitions and also for those objects which were displayed until August 20 th in the Eastern Asiatic Silks, Lacquer and Porcelain exhibition in our other—the Hopp—Museum. With this rearrangement we could complete the material exhibited in the showcases of the Sung ceramics and Ming blue and white porcelains. We added also to this exhibition a k'o-ssu with the figures of Gods of Luck, made in the 15 th century and two large sized embroideries of Gods of Constellation from the 17 th century. To make place for these textiles, we were obliged to reduce the number of paintings. 8 Iparművészeti Múzeum Évkönyve 129
