HOPP FERENC MÚZEUM — MUSÉE FERENC HOPP - Horváth, Tibor: Report on the Activities of the Hopp Museum of Eastern Asiatic Arts in 1967
TIBOR HORVÁTH REPORT ON THE ACTIVITIES OF THE HOPP MUSEUM OF EASTERN ASIATIC ARTS IN 1967 The circumstances of this year were favorable enough to allow us to accomplish our aims planned by the beginning of the year. Concerning the chances for study-tours or missions abroad, we got more than had been expected, in this respect, for us, this year was an exceptional one. At the same time, we had been hindered in our activities by the departure of Flórián Huszár, one of the keepers of the Chinese collection on September 14 th , also by a temporary transfer to another job of another member of the staff, as well as the longer period of sick-leaves of two colleagues. Under these conditions we were glad to welcome Miss Gabriella Imre who joined us as assistant right after finishing her studies of Indology at the philosophical faculty of the Loránd Eötvös University. Mrs. Ildikó P. Nagy, one of our keepers was on a leave of absence during the whole year because of her husband's mission abroad.
