researches. — Coming from Korea, they arrived in Peking on 15 th of October where they spent most of the time in the Palace and Historical Museums. They visited also the workrooms for the restoration of textile and mounting of pictures in the Palace Museum. On his request, László Ferenczy had an opportunity to see a part of the collection of paintings and also the mirrors of the Han period not on exhibition. On a 16 days tour they visited the museums and art monuments in Shanghai, Hangchou, Soochou, Nanking, Hsian and Loyang.
