Fig. 9. Male torso rately to the head. 1st mouth is slightly parted. Its material : granular red pottery. It is in a strongly worn state. Its left ear is almost entirely missing. Its height: 5,6 cm. We have ranged it to this group owing to its clear resem­blance to the primitive animal figures of Kushan period. 6 Fig. 4. Fragment of a man's figure. Its body is missing from the waist down­wards. Its left arm is missing, its right one is arching to its waist. The face is oblong, its ears are remarkably large, they were fitted separately to the head. 6 Das Gupta,, G.
