The manuscript is held together by two carved wooden plates. On the upper one there are three niches situated in a longitudinal oblong field. Two vajra-s divide the central from the two lateral ones (Fig. 12). In the central niche the master has carved out the figure of Vairocana, in the left that of Mahäpratisarä, and in the right that of Mahäsähasrapramardani according to the iconographical rules described above.
