Its authentic representation can be seen on the coronation cloak and on the king's denarius. Saint Stephen s Sword in Prague (Zarnóczki Attila) About the Gallant Order of the Apostolic Hungarian King, Saint Stephen (Dr. Makai Agnes) The Hungarian Royal Saint Stephen's Order, created by Mary Therese in 1764, was one of the most distinguished one in the Hapsburg and later the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. It was given for civilian merits, and existed till the end of the 2nd World War. A Long Forgotten Soldier: Ádám Boros Lt.General of the Imperial-Royal Army (Dr. Zachar József) The article is about Ádám Boros military career, who ­descending from a poor noble family - rose from the position of a private to the rank of a general during the wars of the second half of the 18th century. Crossing the Sturec (Hermann Róbert) In January, 1849 one of the important event of the winter campaign, led by Arthur Görgei, was the famous crossing over the Sturec. A painting depicting this event can be seen on the exhibition of the Museum. It was painted by Károly Kleiss after the lithographie of the early fifties. The author describes both the story of the crossing and the origin of the lithographie.
