EXHIBITIONS AND EXHIBITION HALLS OF THE HUNGARIAN MILLENNIUM IN VIENNA, 2001 In the spring of 2001, the Collegium Hungaricum of Vienna organised several exhibitions in the Austrian capital to celebrate the Hungarian millennium. Beside the activity of the main directors, these exhibitions were realised by the staff of the Military History Museum that took part in the assembling of the material, drafting the sight plan and the implementation itself. There were lessons to be drawn from these jobs in various respects. The study discusses the issues of technical preparations and the organisation, the course of exhibition building and the possibilities and methods of cooperation. What makes it special is that it also casts light upon the crucial points of an exhibition's birth. Considering that these exhibitions were organised in Austro-Hungarian cooperation, publishing the 'credits' at the end of the study is of high priority. AUSSTELLUNGEN UND AUSSTELLUNGSPLÄTZE ANLÄSSLICH DES UNGARISCHEN MILLENNIUMS IN WIEN, 2001 Bei der Realisierung der vom Collegium Hungaricum Wien im Frühjahr 2001 organisierten Ausstellungen zu Ehren des ungarischen Millenniums in der österreichischen Hauptstadt wirkte - von der Auswahl des Materials über Designentwurf bis hin zur Gestaltung selbst - neben den Hauptgestaltern ein Team des Heeresgeschichtlichen Museums mit. Die Arbeit an der Ausstellung ging in jeder Hinsicht mit vielen Erfahrungen und Lehren einher. Der Beitrag über die Problematik der technischen Vorbereitung und Gestaltung, den Vorgang des Aufbaus von Ausstellungen, die Möglichkeiten und Formen der Zusammenarbeit halten wir deswegen für etwas besonderes, weil er auch die kritischen Phasen des Entstehens einer Ausstellung hervorhebt. In Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass diese Ausstellungen in österreichisch-ungarischer Koproduktion entstanden, halten wir es für wichtig, die Liste der Mitarbeiter am Ende der Studie zu veröffentlichen.
