Tézer Zita: Szkíta kori tükrök a Kárpát-medencében = Scythian-period mirrors in the Carpathian basin 5-38

TÉZER ZITA grave 29 from Sopron-Krautacker (fig. 12.2a) sharing features with the one from Törökszentmiklós can be dated to the 5 th-4 th centuries BC, which fact is further confirmed by a late Hallstatt period vessel from the 5 th century BC. There is one further riveted piece that can be related to them, the one from Komlód which was found together with an upside-downcross-shaped quiver mounting and several bronze arrow-heads. (figs 11.2c, 12.6a-c). Therefore the mirror can be dated to the 5 th century BC. The ribbed decoration of the backside of the mirrors in Podolia raises further problems. The mirrors from Kisekemező (fig. 7.3b) and Csombord (fig. 11.3a) have traces of riveting, but the mirror from Sapohova belongs to the group without shaft. (fig. 11.3b) Therefore the two pieces from the Carpathian Basin can be considered local products. 28
