ANYAGKÖZLÉSEK - B. Thomas Edit: III. századi női fej Albertfalváról 169-175
the head under review represents a link in a chain of local artistic tradition and is by no means a mere adjunct to a possible Rhenish settlement in our parts. To sum up : the female head excavated in Albertfalva formed part of a sepulchral effigy in the middle third of the 3rd century, and is a welcome contribution to the remains preserved from a period which is poor in sculptured relics.
