A necklace of cornelian, amber and chalcedony beads was found in the region of the neck (Fig. 8). A lunula made from a silver plaque and decorated with granules hung in the middle of the row of beads. The faience lion bead found on the chest may also be part of this or another longer necklace. A gold earring with a granulated ornament was found under the skull beside the closed bronze ring that held together the necklace. Analogies to this type of earring can be found in earlv Sarmatian material (KŐHEGYI 1982- FARKAS 2000). Millefiori and amber beads were uncovered in layers in the region of the wrist. A single-handled, wheel-thrown, biconical, red-painted jug was placed by her feet. The gold birds, the beads and the faience lion came from the Pontic region (\ADAY 1989, 45, 55-56). The grave can be dated to the AD 1 st century based on the absence of Roman wares and the characteristics of the jewellery. Hie inhumation grave oriented southnorth containing an extended skeleton was also found about 20 m from the above grave. The only bead found in it also dated the grave from the Sarmatian period. Beside the datable features, there were many features and phenomena that did not contain finds. Two more-or-less parallel royvs of postholes intersected the large sand ridge, enclosing it in a northwest-southeast direction. None of the postholes contained finds. One of the postholes, hoyvever, intersected feature no. 40 (Sarmatian grave), so it can be dated either from the Midgration Period or later. The two royvs of postholes running perpendicular to each other uncovered on the territory and around the Bronze Age house could not be dated either. They certainly did not belong to the house.
