The majority of the 11 features were round, somewhat beehive-shaped pits (Fig. 10). Their fill yielded only ceramic shards. Celtic wheel-thrown "S"-profiled bowls were found together with painted Roman shards and especially' many hand-thrown shards. Numerous rim fragments decorated with finger impressions and oblique grooves are characteristic of the latter group. The Roman imported wares date the settlement to the AD 2 ik1-3"' centuries. Four features were uncovered during the removal of the humus in the northernmost part of trench 3. This year only a fragment of a northeast-southwest oriented ditch was found on the southernmost side of the trench but this did not contain finds. Anita Korom - László Reményi - Anikó Tóth
