A legmagasabban megmaradt cölöp tetejének szintadata 98, 6 m Af. (NM-KA) 2003. április 7-9. között víz alatti felderítést és felmérést végeztünk. A munka célja a tervezett vízisípálya területén a korábbi helyszíni szemléken megfigyelt cölöpszerkezetű építmény kiterjedésének és jellegének tisztázása volt. A merülések során megállapítottuk, hogy a cölöpszcrkezetű építmény az öböl nyugati partjához kapcsolódik, a golfpálya vonalától északra a hajógyár sólyái elpusztították, az öböl déli oldalán pedig a beton támfal vonalától kikotorták. A partra merőlegesen húzódó 15 méter hosszú cölöpsorokat dokumentáltuk, melyekben a cölöpsorok párosával (egymástól mintegy 2 méterre) helyezkedtek el, a párok között pedig 6-8 méter volt a távolság. A cölöp-párok között és körül nagy mennyiségű mészkő tömböt figyeltünk meg. Két szondát nyitottunk a terület déli részén. Megfigyeltük, hogv a cölöpsorokat vízszintcsen lefektetett gerenda kötötte össze, így 2x2 méteres a 20 m wide strip on the bay's western bank.
