Szigetszentmiklós-Laki hegy-Dunára-dűlő (Reményi László - Terei György)

déli oldalán méhkas alakú tárológödröt ástak. Hamus, paticsos betöltéséből nagymennyiségű Árpád-kori kerámiaanyag került elő. A délkeleti oldalon találtuk meg a lejáratot. Összefoglalva elmondható, hogy a korábbi Mü-ás ásatások során feltárt bronzkori és Árpád-kori település délkeleti vége így meghatározhatóvá vált. Az előkerült objektumokat és leletanyagot összevetjük a korábbi kutatások eredményeivel, amely után komplexebb képet kapunk az egész területről. Reményi László - Terei György Irodalom/

Two sites of similar age are known near the site. Anna Endrődi unearthed Early Bronze Age graves and a few settlement features a few hundred metres to the north (at Csepel-Rákóczi Road and Csepel-Vízmű sites) (ENDRŐDI-HORVÁTII 2002), and a cemetery used from the Early Bronze Age to the end of the Middle Bronze Age was discovered on Növény Street on the opposite bank of the Danube (KALICZ-SCHREIBER 1984, Taf.XLI, REMÉNYI 2002). The results of the excavation conducted in Duna-dűlő fit into the earlier observed settlement historical data for the Bell-Beaker - Csepel group (KALICZ-SCHREIBER 1976, 1997, ENDRŐDI 1992). It can be observed, in general, that the settlements of this group were established on the banks of the Danube. The features unearthed by Katalin Melis may belong to such a settlement while the scattered settlement features with only a few finds uncovered this year mark the edge of the same settlement. At the same time, the extended cemeteries followed the riverside settlements, 200-300 meters away from the Danube. Two graves from such a cemetery were unearthed. Three baking surfaces from the above-mentioned Árpád Period oven could be distinguished. Pebbles were pasted into the lowermost surface as well as into the renewed surfaces. Dressed stones were found by the mouth and the sides of the oven, which hd a diameter of 160 cm. Beside the oven, we found a deep work-pit. A beehive-shaped storage pit was dug into the southern side of the 3.6x4.1 m pit.
