In the south and the east we have no clue at all where the ssettlement ended. The territory of the excavation in 2003 may lie near the west-northwest periphery of the settlement, something suggested by the thinning of archaeological activity in the west and northwest and the location of the large clay extraction pit complex. This may also explain why we were not able to observe the three settlement levels that Tibor Nagy documented east of our territory on Mező Street. The geographical and gcomorphological conditions at the settlement are difficult to reconstruct. It seems probable, however, that the inhabitants made use of the natural advantages offered by the loessy ground of the so-called Albertfalva-Lágymányos hill range on the right side of the Danube, an intensively inhabited locations in several prehistoric periods.
