A 2. számú kutatóárokban egy vöröses, patiesos folt alatt egv - a sárga altalajba mélyülő - kora bronzkori gödör is előkerült, nagyobb mennyiségű kerámiával és állatcsonttal. A I Iarangedény-Csepel-csoport lelőhelyei sűrűn egymás mellett helyezkednek el a Duna fővárosi szakaszán a nyugati parton. Különösen megfigyelhető a lelőhelyek sűrűsödése Békásmegyer északi határától nagyjából a Hajógyári sziget déli csücskének vonaláig. (KALICZ-SCfIREIBER 2001, 2. kép) A lelőhely közvetlen közelében a I Iajógyári-szigetcn és a Gázgyár területén kerültek elő a kultúra leletei. Elképzelhető, hogy a Gázgyár területéről 1936 óta előkerülő sírleletek, amelyeket a kögrave Danube in Budapest. The clustering of the sites is especially apparent from the northern border of Békásmegver to approximately the southern tip of the Dockyard Island (KAEICZSCI IREIBER 2001, Abb. 2.). Finds from the culture were found on the Dockyard Island and in the territory of the Gas factory, in the immediate vicinity of our site. It is possible that the grave finds unearthed in the territory of the Gas factory since 1936, which were complemented with 11 cremation burials which were recently unearthed (ENDRŐDI 2001), might be interpreted as the cemetery of the settlement excavated this year. The topographic location of the site fits with former observations: the graves of the Gas factory lay about 500 m from the Danube, while the settlement unearthed at this time is located right on the Danube bank. The unearthed settlement fragment together with larger settlements which have recently come to light (ENDRŐDI 1992, ENDRŐDI 2002) clearly illustrate the
