lyegzőt, illetve hasonló téglabélyegekkel feltöltött, kiégetésre váró kemencét a szomszédos telek területén már korábban feltártak. (PARRAGI 1971, 21, 2. kép, 74, 19. kép, PARRAGI 1976, 163, LORINCZ 1981) A legio II adiutrix félhold és emberi lábat formázó téglabélyegei a 2. század elejére, a 2. század első felére keltezhetők, (SZILÁGYI 1933, 33, 34, Nr. 101a, SZILÁGYI 1950, 308, 5. kép, 310, Kr. u. 162-166 közé keltezte: LORINCZ 1978/1, 303.) a légió hasonló, korai bélyegei a Kiseelli úti fazekasműhelv területéről (NAGY L. 1937, LORINCZ 1978/2) és a Majláth utcai csatornázás során kerültek elő. (SZILÁGYI 1933, VII. t. 76, 90.) A telek északnyugati felén egy a római kori járószintről induló, az őskori réteget átvágó, feltehetően a római korban vagy azt követően létrejött „térszíni bevágódásra", árokra? bukkantunk. Az árok? szegélyét kövekkel rakták ki. Később feltehetően hegycsuszamlás következtében kiseelli sárgás-szürke agvaggal töltődött fel, valószínűleg egy lassabb folyamat következtében. A feltételezett patak ideális környezetet nyújthatott a közeli ipartelep működtetéséhez. A Bécsi út 128. számú telken feltárt északkelet-délnyugati irányú, terrazzóval man period levels which intersected the prehistoric layer in the northwest area of the plot. It probably developed in the Roman period. Its bed was covered with rocks. Later it became filled in with Kiseelli yellowish-grey clay probably as the consecjuence of a landslide. It must have been a slow process as suggested bv grayish stripes in the clav. The hypothesized stream would have provided an ideal environment for the operation of the nearbv industrial complex. We could not find the continuation of the northeast-southwest running channel lined with terrazzo, which was unearthed in lot 128 Bécsi Road (PARRAGI 1971, 60, fig. 9 1-2). A northeast-southwest oriented, angled, probably subterranean feature measuring 1.40 x 2 m and 1.60 m (the approximated length is about 2.60 m) was unearthed in the western part of the lot. Its bottom was paved with flat bricks measuring 56 X 54 - 60 X 62 cm (6 bricks were found in an only slightly fragmentary condition). The bricks were laid unsystematically with the bottoms down and turned downwards.
