Újabb régészeti kutatások a Vízivárosban Recent excavations in the Víziváros (Budapest, U. ker., Medve utca 5-7., 13., Hrsz.: 13836, 13851) 2001. augusztus-december hónapokban régészeti feltárást végeztünk a Budapest, II. ker., Medve utca 5-7., illetve 13. számú telkeken a Csík Ferenc Altalános Iskola és Gimnázium tervezett bővítéséhez kapcsolódva a Budapest II. kerület Önkormányzata Polgármesteri Hivatal megbízásából. A feltárás három helyszínre oszlott. Az iskola déli udvarán (az. egykori Medve utca 5. területén) 10x10 méteres felületet, valamint kisebb kutatóárkot nyitottunk fel. Feltártuk egy 18. század közepén használt temető részletét (mintegy 100 sírt), amelyek nagyméretű középkori épületek alapfalmaradványait fedték be. A falmaradványok kapcsolatba hozhatók a délről szomszédos telken (Medve utca 3.) kiásott középkori templom maradványokkal (Szt. Péter mártír plébániatemplom, Garády Sándor és II. Gyürky Katalin ásatásai), napvilágra került egy ossarium (csontkápolna ?) részlete, valamint a hozzá nyugatról csatlakozó épületszárny. (Budapest 11, plots 5-7, 13 Medve Street, Lm: 1 3836, 13851) Between August and December 2001 archaeological excavations were conducted on plots 5-7 and at 13 Medve Street Budapest II, preceding the enlargement of the Csik Ferenc Primary and Secondary School commissioned by the local government of Budapest in the 2

nd district. The excavations were carried out in three locations. A surface of 10x10 m and a smaller test trench were opened in the southern yard of the school (formerly 5 Medve Street). Part of a cemetery dating from the middle of the 18

th century (about 100 graves) was unearthed. The cemetery overlay the remains of foundations walls of large medieval buildings. The wall remains can be linked to the remains of the medieval church (parish church consecrated to Saint Peter martyr, excavations by Sándor Garády and Katalin H. Gyürky) unearthed on the plot adjoining this one to the south (3 Medve Street). A detail from an
