6. Újabb kutatások a Római Strandfürdő területén (Láng Orsolya)

kelet-nyugati es egy észak-déli irányú újkori falrés/letet dokumentáltunk és egy - szintén kelet-nyugati irányú - rövid falszakasz legalsó, erősen lepusztult kősorát, mellette terrazzodarabokkal. Ez utóbbi esetleg az aquaeductusra csatlakozó egyik csatornaág lehetett. A továbbiakban az egykori Tóvendéglő helyén, a tavalyi ásatási felülettől nyugatra három kutatóárokot nyitottunk (1.-II1.), mivel ide szaunaépületet tervezett a tulajdonos. Az ásatás során regisztrált falak esetében - amelyek folytatásai a tavaly előkerült épület(ck) falainak - itt csak két fázist lehetett biztosan elkülöníteni. Elsőként a Tóvcndéglő falfázisa került elő, eltérő irányítású osztófalakkal. Az 1965. évi ásatás rajzairól ismert, hogy a Tóvendéglőhöz utólag hozzáépült egy étterem. Valószínűleg ez a hozzáépítés került elő most, erre utal a III. árok északkelet-délnyugati irányú széles fala, lépcsőindítással és egy befalazott bejárattal. Ide tartozik egy leomlott kályha téglatörmeléke és egykét csempéje in situ és az I. és II. árok északi szegélyénél előkerült köves, téglatörmelékes szint. A leletanyag zömében újkori kerámia (mázas), csont, vas. A tavalyi évben dokumentált Lőpormalom periódusához idén where two wall fragments were documented as running in an eastwest and north-south direction respectively. The lowermost, badly damaged stone row from an castwest oriented short wall section was unearthed with some terrazzo pieces beside it. The latter wall mav be part of a branch connected to the aqueduct. Next, three trenches (l-III) were opened in the place of the former Tóvcndéglő (Lake restaurant) west of the excavation territory of the previous year since the owner planned to build a sauna here. Only two phases could definitely be differentiated in the walls discovered in these trenches. These were the continuations of the walls of the building(s) unearthed last year. First, the wall phase of the Tóvendcglő was found. It included dividing walls of diverse orientations. It is known from the drawings of the 1965 excavations that a restaurant was subsequently annexed to the Tóvcndéglő. Probably, it was this annex which was discovered. This idea is supported by the wide northeast southwest running wall in trench III where we found the start of steps and a walled-in entrance. The brick fragments and some in
